Overview
With 30+ entities each connecting to dozens of third-party services, the integration landscape was chaos. Duplicated OAuth flows, inconsistent error handling, and webhook spaghetti meant every entity was reinventing the wheel. Nexus centralised it all — one integration hub that manages every third-party connection for every entity in the group.

The Challenge
Integration sprawl at scale
Every entity connecting to the same third-party services independently. Duplicated OAuth implementations. Inconsistent error handling. Webhook endpoints scattered across dozens of codebases. When a vendor changed their API, 30+ entities needed to update — if they even noticed the breaking change.
Duplication
The same Stripe integration was implemented differently across 15 entities. Each had its own bugs, its own edge cases, its own tech debt.
Webhook chaos
Missed webhooks, duplicate processing, no retry logic. When a webhook failed, nobody knew until a customer complained.
The Solution
Connect once, deliver everywhere
Nexus manages all third-party connections through ee.integrations. Each connector is built once and shared across every entity. OAuth flows are unified through ee.auth — one token store, one refresh cycle, one set of scopes.
Incoming webhooks land in ee.webhook, which validates, deduplicates, and routes events to the right entity through ee.queue. Dead-letter queues catch failures. Health monitoring through ee.notification alerts the team before customers notice. When a vendor updates their API, Nexus updates once — every entity gets the fix instantly.
